Huawei the Chinese smartphone brand launched Mate 20 series a few months ago and now the Mate 20 series have crossed 10 million plus smartphones.
The CEO of Huawei's consumer business and managing director Yu Chengdong officially announced on Weibo that the shipment of the Huawei Mate 20 series exceeded 10 million units. The Mate 20 series of Huawei was launched back on Oct 18 and in just 5 months the sales have crossed 10 million units. From these figures, the Huawei Mate 20 series sale rush is twice as fast as the previous generation.
At the same time, Huawei Mate 20 series broke the previous Mate 10 and P series sales records in China and was favored by consumers in markets outside China such as Western Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and other regions. Young users under the age of 35 and female users in the Chinese market increased by 7% compared with the Huawei Mate 10 series. Female users of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is 11% higher than Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The influx of young and female users has provided a new market source for the continued sales of Huawei Mate 20 series.
At the just concluded MWC019, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro defeated many flagship mobile phones released in the same period or recently, and won the “Best Smartphone” award from the MGC organizer GSMA, known as the “Oscar” in the mobile phone industry, highlighting the strength of the Huawei Mate 20 series flagship.
