Huawei the world's 2nd largest smartphone brand has just unveiled the Mate 20 X 5G. The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is the variant of original Huawei Mate 20 X which was launched in November last year. 5G is only available in Korea, United States and some part of China and 5G will be launched in the UK on the 3rd of June so that is why Huawei launched Mate 20 X 5G in the UK.

The 5G variant of Mate 20 X was leaked many times and we also hand on videos available so we already knew about that. So we will only see two or three differences as compared to original Mate 20 X.
5G Modem:
So, Huawei has added its own homemade 5G modem the Balong 5G modem. The Balong 5000 and the Exynos model 5100 are the most stable and future-proof 5G models available right now. They support both non-standalone and standalone 5G networks.Battery Capacity:
The battery of Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is less than its original variant. The original variant featured 5000 mAH battery while the new Mate 20 X 5G featuring a battery of only 4200 mAH with 40W fast charging.Other specifications:
The rest of the specifications don’t differ from the non-5G variant. This handset features the same Huawei’s own Kirin 980 SoC, 7.2-inch display and Android 9.0 Pie topped with EMUI 9.We also see the original camera setup with 40MP + 20MP + 8 MP sensors. The handset also supports M-pen stylus which can be purchased separately.
The pre-orders for a 5G variant of Huawei Mate 20 X will start by the end of this month and the phone will be available for sale in June at £999. The non-5G variant is priced at £750 in the UK.
