WhatsApp going to launch two new exciting features

So, Whatsapp going to add two new exciting features for their users according to sources the company is working to launch two new features on its platform which includes sharing your Whatsapp story to your Facebook profile and QR codes for profiles. 

The famous WhatsApp news source WABetaInfo reported that Whatsapp users will be able to share their WhatsApp status on Facebook as a Facebook story. The new feature can be used by clicking on the "Add to Facebook story" option that will allow users to perform this function. User must Facebook app installed in their phones for using this feature.

WABetaInfo in a Twitter post said, “If the Facebook app is installed, WhatsApp will add a new option called Add to Facebook Story. When tapped, you will be redirected to Facebook to share your story. Using this option, WhatsApp will allow posting your status updates on Facebook, that contain images, videos, GIFs and text. The process is not automatic, the user has to manually use the option.”

The second feature is the QR code for profiles. The QR code feature is already available in Facebook Messenger and Snapchat and Facebook going to add this feature in Whatsapp. With this option, users will be able to navigate their profile and will show others the QR code with the user’s phone number which is associated with their WhatsApp account. This will enable them to exchange their contact details with their friends or known associates. If a user shared the QR code on social media and is getting unnecessary requests they will also be able to revoke the QR request at any time.

The features are currently in beta phase and Whatsapp will soon roll out these features for the public.
