Islamabad: The Chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA), Amir Ama Bajwa, said that the tendency for viewing pornographic websites has decreased.
Senate's Standing Committee for Information Technology was held under the supervision of Senator Rubina Khalid. Chairperson Rubina Khalid took notice of propaganda against her on social media, saying, "I am being run on social media that action should be taken against 14 tons of gold from home." Director of Cyber Crime Wing reported that Facebook has written on this matter, the report will be received in 7 weeks.
Addressing the Child Pornography (Children's porn videos), Amir al-Bajwa, chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), said 8 million websites related to pornography has been blocked in the country, there are 2,0 384 websites included, Pakistan is in constant touch with the international security agencies in this regard, there is no evidence of uploading pornography in Pakistan, pornography content is being seen through VPN and Proxy. PTA has blocked 11,000 proxy.
Aamir great Bajwa said that PTA is trying to bring a new procedure to monitor VPN, Google has taken strict monitoring of pornography content in Pakistan. Now, the pron watching trend has come to a decline, the people give only URLs of pornographic websites that will be blocked by the PTA and PTA will not reject any request.
