Huawei is working to get back their users after the US allowed Huawei to business and Google also restored Android license and now Huawei has started work to update their flagship devices to Android-Based UI EMUI 9.1. Huawei’s South African branch has recently confirmed five more devices will enjoy Android-based EMUI 9.1 update starting from July. The flagship devices of world’s second-largest phone maker that are getting the latest firmware update include:
- Huawei P20
- Huawei P20 Pro
- Huawei Mate 10 Pro
- Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design
- Mate RS Porsche Design.
It is worth mentioning here that EMUI 9.1 offers a multitude of new features such as the new EROFS file system, GPU Turbo 3.0 as well as AI-based camera improvements bringing the Moon mode found in the P30 line. Moreover, Huawei is giving a refined icon design and gesture controls in the EMUI 9.1. It must also be noted that other than the aforementioned flagships, some mid-range Huawei phones are also likely to get EMUI 9.1 but not until next month. These devices include Huawei P30 lite, Mate 20 lite, Mate 9, P10, P10 Plus, P smart 2019, Y5 2019 and Y6 2019.
